Lining is in! All that’s left is the cuffs and hardware!

I’m hand stitching in the lining to the cuffs since those are always tricky to me, plus I modified the pattern pretty heavily there, so need to do some improv work.

Next project is already lined up.

The construction of this ensemble began just six days before Orange Festival in Warsaw, Poland. @genesiswbb and Chappell presented one of the coolest inspirations we’ve ever seen, and we knew we had to take it on. This look would combine both Gunnar’s expertise and love for historical fashion with @christopherminafo’s photorealistic painting skills and creative genius. The concept was meta and self-referential: Chappell would appear multiple times in the outfit, with each head wearing an Elizabethan ruff (including her own). It started with a 3D sculpt by Christopher, which we printed for the hat and scepter. He hand-painted her face on both, and we topped them with fiery locks to match hers. Yes—both the hat and the scepter have their own hats and ruffs. 😂 Gunnar created the bra, bloomer panty, corset, and giant ruff skirt and custom gloves & Christopher hand-painted her face across the corset and bra, forming a full portrait when worn. Once the corset and skirt were removed in a burlesque-style reveal, the bra showed Gatsby-style eyes.
