(I actually don't know who first put ring structure on cohomology; pretty sure it was Emmy Noether who first proposed looking at (co)homology as actual groups instead of just Betti numbers)

On the contrary, legal institutions have rarely treated death by law enforcement as a disaster in the United States. There are still few incidents of accountability (importantly: indictment isn’t accountability). There is a homology between domestic law enforcement and international in this way

An interesting example of this is DNA and protein homology: Different species have similar DNA sequences or proteins because they inherited them from a shared common ancestor. Without the concept of common ancestry, these similarities would be difficult to explain.

If “integrity” can mean both "damage" and “no damage”, what is the cue a cell can detect? Wall fragments, shifts in wall chemistry, but also forces at the wall–membrane interface. We wanted to treat this as more than a sequence-homology problem, because shape and physics can matter. ⚙️🧠

#proteomics_101 Whoever did the publicity for the notion of a "sorbin homology domain" (gold arrow) deserves some sort of award.

A Robust Persistent Homology : Trimming Approach (Mahato, Dhar) This article studies the robust version of persistent homology based on trimming methodology to capture the geometric feature through support of the data in presence of outliers. Precisely speaking, the proposed methodology w

pretty rare from an nsfw artist to ask this
if anyone works in bioinformatics or know how to work with blast and other tools i need an assistance in the homology search in blastp and also the molecular docking of certain organismes i'm doing a small report on as homework

## Automated Topological Data Analysis for Quantum Error Correction Code Design via Persistent Homology Enhancement
**Abstract:** This paper introduces a novel automated framework leveraging Persistent Homology Enhancement (PHE) to optimize Quantum Error Correction (QEC) code design. Existing QEC code design relies heavily on human intuition and exhaustive search strategies, limiting scalability and optimality. Our approach utilizes topological data analysis (TDA) to identify robust structural features within a QEC code's error landscape, rigorously evaluating and enhancing code performance via Persistent Homology (PH).
