I FINALLY completed the lore on how ginger and noel became a couple that ive been working on since last month if anyone wants to read :] ♥️💚
(title): how noel and ginger met :33 - met after he and wayne was awared elf ot the year - did catering work at christmas carols from her bakery/sweets business for the after party - has heard about noel and the coal elves but wasnt as closely familiar since they were focused with her culinary career more - when they do cross paths noel gets excited that mini peanut butter yule logs were a part of the catering items (canonically his favorite btw) and asked if she made them and said that she's a talented cook - this EASILY flatters ginger that she started to have feelings from his kindness and enthusiasm that THE elf of the year (and wayne also lol) complimented on her cooking that she was stressing over - throughout the party she kept on dreamily looking at noel afar from the catering table and wanted to ask him out but out of nervousness she never did - flash forward to a week later where ginger was assigned as a caterer again for a new year day event at carol's where noel is there as always to gingers surprise (theyre not familiar with the coal district) - throughout the week noel has been in gingers mind and mustered up the courage to chat with him after her catering shift is over early for the event - they seem to hit it off very well during the chat by the convos talking about what they do in their careers and they even ~ playfully~ flirt with each other (oooooh!!!) - once the conversations were done they decided on a date 3 days later (january 4) to the ice skating rink - ginger is hesitant to go since she always gets injured trying to learn how to skate - everything goes well however since noel was kind enough to guide ginger how to do it safely which includes having to hold hands - ... which of course makes ginger fall madly in love with him because of his kindness and his inviting nature in helping them out how to ice skate ♥️ - by the time the date was over, noel and ginger exchanged numbers to talk more since they have to be occupied with those own careers - again, through the week after their date they would exchange messages time to time whenever they are both available - january 9th happens when noel has the realization that he loves ginger for their resilience and passion of what her profession is just like him and confesses to ginger through a phone call to meet him at christmas carols in the evening when she clocks out - once ginger meets up with noel he quietly confesses to them outside and ginger also confesses back which officially marks them as a couple as they spend their first official date at the place they first met 💕
