Gikata is not keen on dragons. So when the hero of the Pact Worlds is sent to a whole empire of them, she figures the Blizzard Beast state could give her a leg-up.

When I started expanding Imperium Draknir I thought about using it to explore the mental landscape of the last 20 years.

But no, screw that. It's too boring. I'm more drawn to the idea the hundreds-year-old alien imperial space lizards would find hands-off governance and economics to be insane

I don't know what it was, but draknir high fashion is a good deal just ROBES. I think it was resigning how to wrap fabric around their legs.

The Praetoral Style - Court Dress in the Imperium Sublime The so-called Praetoral or High Court Imperial style is one emblamatic of the high echelons of Draknid high society. Though style rules can vary from region to region, Praetoral is characterised by use of expensive linens, silks, and leathers (often large volumes of such) combined with bold colours, rare gems and generous amounts of precious embroidery. The intention is to make a statement. Of the wearer's wealth, reach, connections and pride in self-care. Each can cost a substantial fortune Trendsetters are frequently at odds over which is a better sign of sophistication: Volume of material or neatness of style. Socialites regularly see-saw between big, elaborate outfits and clean, understated shapes. One philosophy that is shared across styles however is the source of procuring each outfit. While off-the-rack examples of the style are popular with social climbers in the metropoles, a 'true' Praetoral robe, gown or dress coat is tailored and designed to be bespoke for each wearer. The same goes for any smart-wear suites which might be sewn into the fabric. While these examples represent draknir fits, it is not unknown to see other aliens of high-status (such as deonari magistrates) wearing examples

A new species for Imperium Draknir - bipedal rabbits (name is a WIP currently) related to deonari.
