That occured to me, too. He's a sneaky little weasel. But Aftyn is going to win and put ANOTHER blue seat in there, and then there'll be 219 signatures on that thing. Also, Jefferies will be that much closer to being SPEAKER instead of that Louisaina swamp rat. Go Aftyn, GO!!

We need politicians with real spines that wont cling to civility even when the opposition is clear they wont. We especially dont need inside traders using their position for personal enrichment. Obama/Biden/Pelosi/Schumer/Kamala/Jefferies half-step improvements simply make things gradually worse.

well Pelosi is almost out, Schumer needs to follow her and take Jefferies with him! we'll see, after Tuesday I gained a very much needed bit of hope so, I hope they truly learned something from Mamdani's excellent run

Travel industry is heavily unionized so assume they figure it hurts Dem constituency. Many impacted airports are in blue states/cities dependent on travel so again figure it hurts core Dem groups to pressure Schumer and Jefferies to cave. Don't see it working. Trump will TACO in the end.
