I have a root vegetable brush too! Most cherished thing is probably my grandmother's ulekan and cobek my parents recently bestowed unto me, and the Chinese teacups she used for kue mangkok (and her steamer, it's ugly but it was hers)
Agree! And I also have a carrot.beetroot brush. The most useless but nevertheless cherished thing I own is a fork my mother dug up in her garden in Indonesia in 1947. I'll probably will be buried with it.

but what's kept me back is feeling like I'll be forgotten if I stopped using him, or that everyone will ignore everything I make and just say "we want Kue back!" & "we miss Kue!"

Kue feels more like a mascot, a brand instead of a representation of me like he was supposed to be.
I made his "current" design almost 4 years ago when I was 17 and actually created him a year before that.
I think I'm outgrowing him? or maybe I just desperately need something new?

Hangt af van hoe je het maakt? Het bindt niet met sommige vruchtensappen met hoge zuurgraad. Ik meng het met de handmixer met koude sap/melk/water en dan pas koken. Voor mij voelt het niet korrelig 🤔 de kue lapis wordt met agar agar gemaakt, toch? En die is niet korrelig?
