my case it's nothing as important but I do have Livies and I am pretty sure she was the one who got the chord, biting it and exposing the wiring. For now, it still works but I should get a replacement chord so when it finally conks out (which it will at some point) I won't be stuck. Seeing the chord

part that connects to the computer itself, the outer layer has frayed and the wires are exposed (I blame Livies for this as anything that is string/cord-like she thinks is fair game. what woke me up was feeling small little feet walking over me and then feeling them jump off and then hearing someone over at the cat food bowl munching away. I know that it was little Pearl as she is the one that sleeps on my arm. Livies sleeps on the bed too, but she doesn't actually sleep next
