The Republicans need to be reminded that if things like this are OK under Trump, then President AOC will have an easy time dismantling Fox News, AON, etc. In fact, the easiest way to get the MAGAns to think twice about their agenda is to just utter those two magic words: President AOC.

I hope so, I fear the upheaval will need to get much worse before it can though. When republicans are celebrating attacks on democrats, and their fans cheer them on, I don’t know how to heal that until it gets worse and MAGAns are affected and witness what they’ve done.

True. But that only works because Fox backs them up. They don’t necessarily trust politicians, but they do trust TV people that consistently tell them what they want to hear. Without Fox, I don’t think the Republicans (and now the MAGAns) would’ve embraced lying so enthusiastically in recent years.
