Sometimes the author wants to celebrate their work. I was introduced to Steamboat Willie via the old game 'MickeyMania'. But Disney probably wants us to forget the smoking and sexual assault in "The Gallopin' Gaucho" and "Plane Crazy". When any company has absolute control, some things will now be locked away; with streaming, we don't 'own' our media as we used to. There aren't many VHS players these days but I could still watch some ancient stuff I bought if I really wanted. I feel like 96 years of copyright is an issue in many ways but it's probably a symptom of a larger issue: there is too much power for a few selfish corporations and individuals. I hope this can be redressed. Credits page.
