I mean there is definitely an element of that, cpc has a notorious divide (Bernier being within 2% of Scheer during the leadership race despite the massive difference in their leadership styles was crazy), but I think the LPC making concessions to Smith and the NZAB resignations speak volumes too.

I know you feel that the MOU is amazing 4D climate chess and that the revamped industrial carbon price will solve all, but you are pretty much alone in that opinion. Others that I respect (NZAB, CCI, Sara Hasting-Simon, among others) don't share that optomism.
