1. diana probably stays living with apollo's house in eorzea
2. diana picks up music (bard diana, maybe? would keep with her namesake being an archer)

Apollo's got a kid, asterisk.

This is Diana. She's a clone created by the VIth Legion as a potential counter to the Warrior of Light, using genetic material from both Apollo and the then-presumed-dead Zenos.

I've got a fic about her currently in progress - Omnivaga on Ao3 - but. my energy go poof.

i hate that my creative drive is just. gone. like i have stuff i wanna do - i wanna write omnivaga ch.3, i have an elite dangerous fic i'm writing, i have an original scifi setting i wanna work on, i wanna do locktober and hypnovember poses again this year - but i have No Energy For Any Of It.

finally getting started on omnivaga chapter 3
Keltwyda had known this damned Miqo'te for a little over three years, ever since she dragged the "poor thing" out of the burning wreckage at Carteneau and dragged her all the way back to western Thanalan. Keltwyda's "one good deed," she thought, making up for her deserting the Brass Blades the very instant that blasted wyrm poked his head out of the Red Moon. It wasn't until she woke up a few days later that Pahlyo — not the cat's real name, but an alias the two cooked up to keep her origins a secret — was able to give the young Roegadyn a full recounting of what happened. Just Keltwyda's luck, she supposed, that the one conscript she managed to save happened to be the Emperor's biggest fan. Getting a moon dropped on her head knocked some of the imperial bootlicking out of the girl, but ever since she had been pulling Keltwyda into about every kind of trouble imaginable. But this? This was a new low, even for her. "Skoensylbwyn, I don't need whinging." Pahlyo was towering for a Miqo'te, but practically Lalafellin in height compared to the rugged Sea Wolf she tried to stare down. "I need an address. A place of work. Literally anything you have." Keltwyda slumped, glaring down at Pahlyo with a stern expression. "Ye know just as well as I do, I can't do that. I'm a Yellowjacket now. There are rules here in Limsa, there are laws. A code, Llymlaen be damned." "Damn Llymlaen, and damn your code!" Pahlyo practically hissed, bearing her rather impressive fangs as her anger only grew. "Do you have any idea what this man did?" "And now what? The brass'd have me head if they knew I was tippin' you off." The Miqo'te laughed, more out of frustration than anything else. "So what? We're just supposed to let a murderer walk away, scott free?" Keltwyda buried her face in her hand, rubbing her temples softly. "Are ye under the impression we're in Ul'dah? Yellowjackets don't get to take the law into our own hands. And we especially don't get to be givin' random civvies the chance to go execute their own brand of justice." Pahlyo stared back coldly. "I'll find him myself eventually." "For your own sake, I'll be prayin' ye don't."

this is gonna be something i try to show more in later chapters of omnivaga, but i do like the idea of apollo getting taken off-guard by diana's behavior, either when it's wildly different from apollo's or *especially* when it's shockingly similar

chapter two of omnivaga is going up tomorrow. i'm gonna also start working on chapter three as soon as i have energy.

now i'm gonna need you all to be mature about this. because chapter three involves apollo's old centurio, gurges. and the last time i posted about gurges, it didn't go over well.
