Lastly, certainly not least, my Octoling OC, Rivir. They were... much more difficult to figure out. I actually had to dive into the Splatoon lore to figure out just what the hell they'd even play before settling on this list you'll see before you. (4/4)

Games listed: Sega Bass Fishing, Pokemon Gold, Sonic Adventure DX, Final Fantasy XV, Animal Crossing New Horizons, Tetris, Taiko no Tatsujin, Subway Surfers, Red Dead Redemption II, Osu!

I'd imagine that since they research Salmonids, they are... probably a bit too obsessed with fish. And fishing. And would definitely be seeing how the humans used to fish and what sorts of fish they would encounter.

Sega Bass Fishing is a top spot for them. No contest. Sonic Adventure is #3, solely because they only play it for the Big the Cat story, they'd be a big Big fan.

Final Fantasy 15 is another game they play solely for the fishing, they'd never progress to the 2nd half of the game, like, at all.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons, again, fishing, they only fish, their town probably has a lot of fishing related stuff, fish. Their house is most likely a glorified aquarium, fish.

Red Dead Redemption II, once more, is a game they play for fishing, maybe not to the same extent as the others.

As for the rest:

Tetris - They just like placing blocks down and watching them vanish. And they play it after having read about a human psychology report about the Tetris Effect. They're pretty scary good at it to the point their friends don't really play with them without them having a major handicap.

Taiko no Tatsujin - Analogue to Squid Beatz. Music is a big part of the culture and they'd be remiss if they didn't have one rhythm game in their repertoire.

Subway Surfers - Yeah, sorry. I unfortunately can't imagine them not having something like this on their squidphone. Only this high due to low commitment needed.

Osu - Another rhythm game, not as high as the other one, though. Probably most likely plays the taiko variant more often than the clicking one.
