I think unfortunately one of the problems with this now too is you get companies coming in from the start for releases instead of expanding into something more resembling a company and even more experienced devs who aren’t really indie aren’t exempt: see Pennyblood and Dangen (repeat offender btw)

I love how even when the big source of Dangen's problems are out of the company now, they still manage to fuck people over like this.

Thankfully Armed Fantasia's problems aren't so extreme (and the gameplay preview looks good,) but man do I really feel for those who wanted PennyBlood more.
