We’re looking at another very big Dem overperformance tonight—in a Trump+13 district. Dem Chasity Martinez is up 61-39 with more than half the vote in. Notably, like in TX last weekend, the e-day vote has been even *better* for her than the early vote. voterportal.sos.la.gov/graphical

Another interesting thing in the Epstein correspondence is when he uses money to fake connections - e.g somebody asks him for tickets to a Itzhak Perlman concert “because the two of you are close” and he just gets his assistant to buy them from a scalping site

an underratedly cyberpunk thing was when that one sysadmin went insane in 2008 and locked the entire city of SF's network down because people weren't listening to his suggestions. my dad couldn't get paid for some stuff for a few days. Gavin Newsom had to meet him in prison to get the city passwords

Also like, a lot of this stuff was clearly laid out in right wing policy journals before the 2024 election, and anyone who talked about what they themselves said they planned to do was treated as hysterical.
"Messing with other countries sovereignty and internal politics" is supposed to be beyond the pale yet it was in a bunch of the national security strategy documents and everyone seems to think this is bluster rather than policy
