i also find quantcrit v interesting but thats smth i was introduced to on my last degree too so... i also try to apply decoloniality theory to everything i can! i found it v interesting and helpful for critical analysis of stuff!!

quantcrit is just a form of critical race theory that says stats and categories and numbers arent naturally unbiased and objective and they often have racial biases... THATS COMMON SENSE I FEAR??? HOW IS THAT HARD???

it was a comparative polisci lecture. things that were said by the lecturer include:
"looking at correlations helps us understand causes"
"how do you quantify [piece of qualitative data]"
"the reading for next weeks seminar is a bit hard, i wouldnt have chosen it" & its just quantcrit CRT???
