Yeah, and like. Even in that vein you have counterexamples - like Steven King is prolific and easy reading but undeniably has cultural impact, and you can argue the same for many YA series.
But unless you're studying similar movements, it doesn't (yet?) belong in the proverbial pantheon.

i dont know enough about the Japanese legal system to know how accurate the court scene is, but eh. ive come to accept that most crime series will give me a feeling of 'i dont think it works that way but ok'
