Love the charts. I wish people were more curious about why people's lived reality doesn't match up with the charts, because nothing is more frustrating to poor people than feeling like they're being gaslit by exasperated Democrats
Everyone has utterly lost the plot about the actual material state of the economy. It's as if the last 4 years did not happen. Denial of the shape of the earth. There's really no other conclusion other than that nothing actually matters anymore. We're through the looking glass into pure vibes.
Just to Start, since this is a member of my discipline either obfuscating the truth or forgetting it: The cost of shelter has risen much faster than the cost of the items used to measure inflation (usually a 'basket of goods')

It is SO much worse than just one dev.
The official server is run like 4chan, with a bot conveniently auto-replacing slurs. They also have their *own* code phrase to refer to trans people, and permit all sorts of awful things said there.

While this far right movement is unlikely to die out quickly (please prove me wrong, world) I think the end of term or life for many of them will at least kill this wave.

One of the reasons I've never bought into AI doomerism, is that to believe "it's here to stay, get used to it!" you have to buy into the idea that AI generated elements are so hardcoded or integral as to be permanent, when they really aren't.
You can simply remove it, and it's gone just like that.

Since I'm seeing this a lot, this graph is based on 63 data points and excludes all web content before ChatGPT launched. It has poor methodology, and on top of that, nothing can reliably parse what is AI and what isn't. People make tools but those barely hit 80% accuracy.
