was practicing with smear frames, then I decided to slap some filters on it. about a dozen filters and I ended up with this cool CRT effect.

stickfight was fucking iconic
Xiao Xiao 3 is one of the most influential fight scenes for me. Perfect pacing and choreography, it's still so good to this day. I would re-enact bits from it over and over with my toys, or just in my mind. And of course once they got Flash on our school computers I made my own stickfight animation.

i think gildedguy story stands out as a masterpiece amongst animation in general. Alongside it's insane animation and story (tho it may require some outside knowledge within RHG), it's a celebration of 2 decades of stickfight animation, a genre that was and still is essential to web animation.
