“Why do you dislike TanKana?” Because I don’t like seeing Kanao get the typical shounen girl character treatment, it’s just a trope I’m really tired of. I don’t like how it collapses her very interesting character arc into “and she was destined to be the male protagonist’s wife all along!”

I had some high hopes this one would be gay when I found out Uzuzen was in a band together, but for some reason there was more Tankana in this story than in the actual manga. Also I neeed antis to care about the Giyuushino subtext in Kimegaku when she's a student lol 🙄 hypocrites

I'm so jealous! The only shippy KNY merch I've ever seen in the American fanbase was of boring het ships. They don't even have stuff of the anti-approved m/m ships! It was all GiyuuShino, TanKana, etc. The only thing I liked there was ObaMitsu, but not enough to buy merch of it!
