“Civilizationovae” may be orders of mag easier to detect, sadly (Planets with “fevers”?) 1st examples in astronomy, some times used as prototypes, end up being Gott’s “million-pound penguins” that skew stats. But it gives hope #technosignatures may be easier to detect via outliers!
