[edited] this new methanogen, although encoding Mtr and methyl branch of the Wood-Ljungdahl pathway, does NOT grow on CO2 under any conditions we tested. Early experiments show that adding small concentrations of H2 stops its growth! #testthymetagenomichypotheses
