These Central Valley farm workers are hard at work harvesting tomatos. This involves a lot of bending, reaching, and carrying heavy loads. This is very hard on the body - especially on days like this day where highs reached 100°. #WeFeedYou

Federico worked in Salinas area ag for 20+ yrs. I've worked in many crops, including celery, lettuce & broccoli. I'm currently working in an irrigation crew removing soil from the irrigation canals, so they are clean for the next harvest. It is very tiring work." #WeFeedYou

Tragic. People like these work so hard every day, often at multiple jobs. They don’t have the time or extra energy to bitch about how unfair life is, like the magats who cry that jobs (they don’t and never did want) are being stolen. #thankyoufarmworkers 😭
Migrant farmworkers face SO many risks. 20x more likely to die of heat-related causes. 6x more likely to contract tuberculosis. More chemical-related injuries/illnesses than any other workforce bc of pesticides. The list goes on. And so many people vilify them for doing the work of keeping us fed.
