You could play through every #Metallica album, #BlackSabbath album and #DeepPurple album, three bands synonymous with the best metal guitar riffs ever recorded, but you won't find a song with a riff as good as what #TyTabor from #KingsX come up with for PLEIADES.

#TyTabor is best known as the lead guitarist of #KingsX

His playing on the first Kings X album in 1987 is innovative & mesmerising.

"Pleiades" off that band's second album is simply awesome.

Here's a great solo song of his from mid 2000s.

Definitely a "Beatles influence".

昔、中古でジャケ買いした #kingsx の CD が期待以上に良くて、その後だいぶ経ってサブスク時代になってから「そういえば Kings' X 好きだったなー」ということで当時持ってなかった初期のアルバムとか最新作を聴いていて、そこからギタリストの #tytabor つながりで見つけた The Jelly Jam の最新作アルバムがこの "Profit"

Spinning a solo album from the great King's X guitarist, Ty Tabor, Safety. His 3rd solo released in 2002. From what i understand it is a personal album for him as he wrote it after his divorce.

Band is made up of #TyTabor on guitar, #DougPinnick on bass& #JerryGaskill on drums.

An unconventional cult classic.

#TyTabor, lead guitarist of #KingsX, has released a few solo albums, ROCK GARDEN (2006) being one.

Tabor is an affectiono of #TheBeatles. He was also big into #Audioslave

PLAY is one of the heavier tracks. To me it sounds like Audioslave with a bit of #Queensryche thrown in.
