Got another #Oc #Portrait today! This time is Prismatic Gem's dark and edgy Boyfriend Blitzkrieg. He's a friend of mine's MLP Oc that we shipped with Gem and I made him a humanoid version to go with Gem's. He's her short King who doesn't understand why defense systems in equestria are so bad.

Blitzkrieg according to my friend who made the original pony says he is an Umbrum unicorn, made after Sombra's failures as a secondary attempt for all Umbrums to escape. He is an excellent tactician and fighter, but struggles with the whole love and friendship thing. But Blitz in his starting attempts to start plotting against equestria met Princess Prismatic Gem and through her persistence they eventually became a thing. Sort of. They won't admit it, but they also spend a suspicious amount of time together. Blitz is a unicorn with black ears and hair with a bit of a beard as well as one hazel eye and one red eye as well as a red horn. He tends to wear a black sweater and is shown to wear a red cape here with pins of the crystal empire.

Well, I guess I'm making a map and doing more coding now so we're back on for our original schedule of the end of the month/early October HFJKSNFJROWJR5. THAT'S FINE. I didn't think I could actually get away with not making a map for this thing, I've been thinking about it off and on.

They are both royal scientists in their day-job meaning they work directly under the jurisdiction of the holy council in Cinderhallow. Ezra is an umbralogist, (meaning they work with Umbrum) and Kai is a theologist. In my headworld, theologists are scientists that study phenomena relating to the two gods, Solem and Edax. Since most sapient life on Zyterra is either agnostic or atheist, the intrigue of such a job lies in gaining the opportunity to research and induce supernatural anomalies. The vast majority of Kai's job is postulating theories, so the attire could be described as....scientist casual? The work doesn't get more intense than that until an opportunity arises for it. Ezra on the other hand, works a job where there is a daily risk of being bit, scratched, punctured, and exposed to spores and/or foreign germs, hence the need for full body cover and a respirator mask. (Long tails are physically kept close to the body and off the floor at all times as tying them up could pose a balance risk. They can be bagged if greater protection is needed.)

I really liked a certain way a certain fanfic ended ("Forgotten Sun" by @dapperlilarts.bsky.social) cough.
I really like the idea that recruitment posters depicting Sunset still exist somewhere and ponies keep wondering who that orange unicorn is.
It took long to make this and it tested my patience.
A poster presenting a line of royal guard ponies holding large shields forming a wall. Behind them is an orange unicorn donning white paladin armor, this is the captain of the royal guard. On the background there is the figure of Princess Twilight holding/casting what seems to be pure light, she is wearing a simple blue dress and the entirety of the elements of harmony. Further back is Queen Luna and Queen Celestia, each holding and amulet of their respective celestial body. Light emits from both. ## The letters were a real challenge, i haven't written in freehand since so long but this required some classy handmade letters. Not the best but i think they look gode. #I had a few other slogans but this one was simpler and shorter so it disguised my lack of knowledge about graphic design. Another one was "Be the wall that keeps the dark out" but i am not sure they would reference the Umbrum so directly. ## I totally made Luna's fur way lighter than it was, i painted her first and looked at reference once i began with Celestia so it was a bit late. At the end i wasn't up to making Luna all over again. I guess i was thinking of EG's Luna. ## This took so long and the scale of this project showed clearly the limits of my phone, if it weren't so comfy to draw in bed i would probably never attempt something of this scale on this weak ahh device again. (i still love it) #Also i am sure there are more efficient ways to paint this but i still have so much to learn ## It doesn't show but the royal guard armor doesn't have the side hip plates Sunset's has, but it ended up looking pretty samey if not for the color. I have to broaden my armor horizons.

Oh yeah, I coded the last portion of my parasite I'd been putting off....the Class A umbrum, so the site is now 100% coded and I'm only filling in images now.
