The Dead Don’t Die—YEP! Movie references, genre references, self-referential, subtle fourth-wall breaks, and an all-star cast. Adam Driver does good work. Tilda Swinton is ALWAYS fun to watch.

Altered Carbon Season 1—Probably my all time favorite. Saved to several devices, I love the entire story from start to finish. Be warned they have both kinds of sex and violence—gratuitous and plot driven. Shame about season 2.

Hot Frosty—Is a Christmas Film. So turn off your brain when you watch. The leads are fine enough, but really the supporting cast rules. Kick back and watch Craig Robinson and Joe Lo Truglio steal every scene they’re in.

Logan Lucky—Is an underrated gem. Granted, it’s a heist film (You sonofabitch, I’m in!), but even for that it’s pretty clever. The entire cast is fantastic and just fun to watch do their thing.

Designated Survivor (Season 2)—Is less good. Five showrunners in three seasons is bad. Characters take stupid pills throughout and the plots get more and more off the rails.

Onimusha—Isn’t bad at all. A strong supernatural samurai story wrapped around famed swordsman Musashi Miyamoto by way of Toshiro Mifune. Not without flaws, but overall a fun watch with over-the-top action.
