Went to Yetholm Loch for sunset - located the Cetti's someone found yesterday at 15:45. 4th for Borders.

What's not to like!
I spent an hour-and-a-half at the dentist getting one filling, but managed an hour at dusk at Yetholm Loch getting Water Rail, Goldeneye, Goosander, etc. and my first Great-crested Grebe for the site. Illumination provided by the custodian farmer, burning tyres on the far bank.

What's not to like!

The egret was probably en route from the Teviot Haughs to Yetholm Loch, given its direction of flight.
