Always hard recommending fiction, and I'm not really up to date with new fiction.
I'm currently (re)discovering Colm Toibin and Iris Murdoch, plus anything by John Irving and Carlos Ruiz Zafon does it for me in terms of storytelling.

Terminado “El palacio de la Medianoche” de Carlos Ruiz Zafón. Me ha encantado y personalmente creo que podría hacerse una serie magnífica de este libro. Su ambientación es espectacular y la verdad es que te mantiene muy enganchado. Me ha sorprendido gratamente Calcuta como su escenario.

Leído “el príncipe de la niebla” de Carlos Ruiz Zafón. Lo tenía pendiente desde hace muchos años y por fin me puse con él. Es un libro corto y muy entretenido y aunque se nota que es su primera novela, ya Zafón deja bien claro que era un maestro creando atmósferas únicas.

O Zafón escreveu outros 3 livros no mesmo universo. Não são sequências, mas se passam em Barcelona, na mesma época, e alguns personagens aparecem em mais de um livro. Eu queria ler, mas acabei começando outros livros e esses ficaram pra lá.
