Well, Helena's the only MC that has a major, meaningful color scheme (black, goth-girl).
Most of the characters in the fantasy have a color, due to their light/color-based magic.
Jack has no specific color he wears. Sometimes it's dull, sometimes brighter, depending on...🧵
Does your character have a particular color scheme?
Are there specific colors they prefer for their clothing, accessories, hair etc?
Is it for practical (e.g. stealth) or aesthetic purposes?

Top millimeter grainy, but the rest is soft and smooth. Slightly over-sweet. Suspicious citrusy aftertaste.😬
I have enough ingredients to try again tomorrow, but I dont know how to keep the top from getting grainy so fast.
May try a simpler recipe without the marshmallow.
Never made fudge before. Wasted 30min because I didn’t know you werent supposed to use a double-boiler. When I finally got it right, it got kinda… seepy? There’s a sheen of sweat on top?
Also, I made it with the same equipment I just made lemon-curd with so… 🫣😬

SO. All I want is the following:
1. Go to my curated art purchases feed: Khonmissions!
2. Find a piece you like.*
3. Go to the original post, tell the artist why you like it. 🔁❤️
*If you don't like my blorbos, go be nice to another artist this weekend. Really. That's it.

In the fantasy, the guardians (gargoyles etc) are a unit of Lucifer’s army. They are organized into “choirs” that each have a designated role. They flight with blunt light-magic.

Verdict: I am bad at making deviled eggs (too salty, not creamy enough, too much mustard), but they at least cover the craving🤷♀️

I try not to hoard or collect junk, but I have a little weakness for dainty little bottles. This is about 1/3rd of my collection, my favorites.

20yrs before Helena goes to St. Romains, there was an incident. It cost one gargoyle her life. It stranded a demon in human form and *spoiler.*
Also… Unwritten idea, RelaysWIP, is 20yrs before HermitageWIP
(The first 5GC novella, A Steady Hand, takes place 20yrs after Hmtg.)

I find ebooks harder to deal with. I cant take my unit with me all the time, what if the battery dies, and I cant track my progress quite as intuitively.
Audiobooks are much worse. I have enjoyed them, but they just dont suit me.
I have no preference between hard and soft-covers.
Follow the directions on the prompt card and discuss your reading habits.

In the narrow aisles of a neat little bodega. Above, a sleek tortoiseshell cat is caught in a blur, leaping from rack to rack.

Jack- His phone 😅 Hey, he’s a dedicated Dad. Being in reach of his daughter if trouble arose is a priority! He also always has some defensive magic charm on him, which may vary depending on need or recent obsession. A pouch of herbs is pretty standard.
Charlie- Her belt-knife🧵
What is something your character always carries with them?
In a purse, a bag, a secret pouch, a pocket?
Is there something they never travel without? Why?

So now I just have to hope my mystery readers aren’t into romances or won’t notice the recycled plot element. 🤦♀️

Helena gets a lovely lecture about the creation of Hell one day, obviously told by rote in heightened language. It resembles the myth of the fall of Lucifer that we know, but is a little different cuz I combined pagan mythos with Christian, and Hell is not as we might think.

First, Id like to point out the difference between a “cliffhanger” (a problem solved in the next chapter) and a “game-changer” (a problem that blows readers mind and changes the story.)
I hate cheap cliffhangers.
I LOVE a good game-changer, but also, prefer one-shot stories.

Either that, or utter devestation.
Jack would give up the project for love.
Helena would drop out of school for justice.
Talia would give up her case for a “real” job.

Fantasy isnt always “long ago and far away.”
Romance FMCs aren’t all klutzy, cute, quirky disasters.
Multigenre writers aren’t all money-grabbers (some of us are just confused.😅)
