Not exaggerating when I say I would like a personal, handwritten apology from every pundit who barfed out a dozen "the left wants to change the way you talk!" op-eds based on non-mandatory guidelines in obscure PDFs.

Despite an apparent ceasefire and claims of a "spectacular military success," the question remains: Why did Trump really bomb Iran?

Here's my view.

Millions of acres of our shared lands in the American West may be up for sale. The catastrophic damage of plundering these lands is unimaginable, for now and future generations. Out here we are in deep relationship with the land. It’s habitat, it’s home.

Harvard researcher Dr Sarah Fortune was only two years away from creating a vaccine that could have saved the 1.25 million people killed each year by tuberculosis. But last month, she received a letter telling her that the $60 million grant funding her research was being halted by President Trump.

CO₂ at Mauna Loa just reached a monthly average of >430 ppm for the first time.

That's possibly higher than in over 3.3 million years.

The global RATE of increase is off the chart.

It's hard to exaggerate how unprecedented this is!

1/2 Buried in the GOP’s budget bill is a dictator clause—a sneaky provision that would let Trump ignore court orders without consequence. It guts enforcement of contempt rulings unless plaintiffs post a bond, making the judiciary toothless.
This would crown Trump king.

🚨SCIENCE UNDER SIEGE: TRUMP’S FIRST 100 DAYS 🚨

In his first 100 days, Trump has declared war on science—slashing budgets, censoring facts, and meddling in research. From climate to cancer care, real lives are at risk.

Here’s a thread on Trump’s assault on science so far—and why it matters: (🧵)
A protest graphic titled “TRUMP’S FIRST 100 DAYS” with bold red blocks reading “SCIENCE UNDER SIEGE.” Black paint drips from the top, and a grayscale crowd of protestors hold signs like “Save Science,” “Keep Your Hands Off Our Pipettes,” and “No Science, No Future.” A U.S. flag waves on the right.
