Ask them to co-sponsor H.R. 3565, the “Block the Bombs” bill, to block all future weapons sales and transfers to Israel.Here’s what you can say when you speak to a staff person or leave a message:“As your constituent, I’m outraged that the US has given Israel more than $30 billion in weapons and other support since October 2023 to commit genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.These are my taxpayer dollars. That’s why I’m asking you to co-sponsor H.R. 3565, the Block the Bombs Act. Israel has killed at least 60,000 Palestinians, destroyed hospitals, schools, and universities, and is currently starving 2 million people by denying them humanitarian aid. H.R. 3565 would block the Trump administration from delivering major weapons to Israel. Blocking these weapons to Israel is both the moral and the legal thing to do. US law prohibits weapons to any country that blocks humanitarian aid and engages in systematic patterns of gross human rights violations.
