Here in the NC Research Triangle, it will devastate medical & nursing schools & universities, eg Duke, UNC at Chapel Hill, NC State

Do senators Budd & Tillis think this HELPS the NC economy?

How do universities expect to survive? Federal grants keep universities open, people employed, & the economy moving. This chaos will mean that people lose their jobs & will not be able to afford eggs at any price.

“Discussions with colleagues have suggested that if the universities all come together and raise hell about the delays to funding caused by not holding meetings, that might move the needle. From every state. There are well-funded universities in red states that will be impacted.”

-For every dollar we invest in NIH research, there is a $2.5 return.
-Research dollars help fund universities that employ non-academics. (1/)
