With 82% of young people using social media for health information, it’s increasingly important for health professionals to cut through online misinformation with reliable and appealing social media health communication

Deporting your own citizens, dual or not, is the ultimate abrogation of responsibility by a society, and any government that does it is unfit because it doesn't understand the most basic elements of its duties to its own people. It is unconstitutional, as it should be because it is immoral.

Lots of talk about WFH & productivity in the Australian Public Service, handily UNSW did a 2024 report on it

It found APS productivity isn't impacted by hybrid work & giving employees more autonomy w/ flexibility led to sustained productivity + employee engagement

Australia has passed new rules banning children under 16 years from social media, yet University of Queensland researchers have found little evidence linking social media to youth mental illness.

They write why a public health response may lead to more positive outcomes.

Young people today spend about 40-50 percent more time alone than their counterparts did in 2010. Loneliness pandemic, poor mental health, and pessimistic worldview surely are linked.
