My seven-year-old asked for a dictionary this week. We went to the bookshop today to buy one. She walked home hugging it, pausing every so often to look up a word, grinning as though she had been given a book of spells, the key to wonders.

Always worry when people share photos of their kids publicly online on non-private platforms, due to both safety concerns and them being far, far too young to truly consent, but with AI and deepfakes now a reality... It's never worth the risk, or the lack of control they have over their own privacy.
