As a person whose history involves generational enslavement "owning" anyone is jarring for me as a concept.
I think you do make a strong point. In the states we waste so much time telling others WHAT to think instead of asking them TO THINK.

I believe that we have the absolute right to freedom of speech, and the freedom to not listen.
More important is the freedom to discover for us what is important to us.
Which then makes us responsible to the facts we champion.
Religion doesn't make you GOOD any more than a weapon makes you safer.

I am a Christian, but I believe that everyone has a right to believe what they believe as long as those beliefs endanger no one.
I don't get theism as it's antithetical to Christ's teachings.
That said, I have Great admiration of a lot of your thoughts.
And this one is needed.

He may be do awful things, but we can't use words that could be seen as harmful to him. I'm sure you didn't see "eliminated" as anything more than "voiding bowels" but some might see that differently.

I'd have to argue that I DO CARE who's in them. I want those who've been involved charged in any crimes they've committed. I want them to face justice. I'm not about giving passes to notables as if they are above the law.
The victims deserve peace and justice.
