Righto, finished off all the graphics primitives and clipping, for now. Still using 8-way symmetry for the circles, not the 4-way symmetry mentioned yesterday in a different thread. There's always room for improvement yet I'm happy with it as it stands. Next, need to Z-sort the objects in the scene.

I say it all the time but how is there no regular weekly TV programme about cinema or art or music (apart from Later, sometimes) or media, or books - and yet there seem to be about 45 programmes a week on the Royal Family or true crime.

Finally into the "little things" on the roguelike now, like making sure the pick up item sound only happens when there's an item to pick up.

Speaking to women isn't hard. Just speak to them with the same dignity & respect you would expect someone to speak to you with. That's the "magic".

When he met someone in a bar one Friday night and swapped social media handles, he asked AI what his next move should be.
ChatGPT discerned that sending an initial message on Monday midmorning would set the right pace. "Then it gave me some options for what the message could be," says Rich.
"Keep it light, warm, and low-stakes so it reads as genuine interest without urgency," the bot advised. "Something like: Hey Sarah, still laughing about [tiny shared moment/reference if you've got one] - good to meet you!" Rich went back and forth with ChatGPT until he felt they'd hit upon exactly the right message ("Hey Sarah, it was lovely to meet you") but sadly she never replied, he says. "It's been two weeks now."

Dude, she posted the video and claims she didn't see any responses for hours... well, who locked the replies after it was pointed out that it was a fake video? Santa Claus? The Easter Bunny?

She knew, and she thought she could "style it out" by locking the replies and ignoring it.

Only saw it 20 minutes ago.... right. So some 3rd party managed to switch off replies to the video she posted after people pointed out it was AI and fake....

Sure she didn't check it for hours....
