Right?! I know one who has to attend her allotment of hours and has a struggling teen at home. She is super stressed over a 30 day layoff notice and she couldn’t get EI over the summer so she knows she’ll get nothing financially if she is let go. She’s been cleaning and tidying a lot this past week.

All of my socks have toes. They keep my toes from rubbing together and blistering since I’m on them for 8-10 hours at work and then the fool in me likes to put on a new pair for a good 5km evening walk with a friend.

It’s a blustery Fall day. Snow soon. Time to swap my tires. The guy at the shop started at 15 retreading tires after school and it was opened by his Grandfather in 1937. His Grandson is working right beside him today. I’ve been coming to the same shop for over 20 years.

I’m really sad for the many EAs who don’t even qualify for EI in the summertime and were just given 30days layoff notice. They certainly do it for the kids, not the paycheque.

Two nights of 3:45am alarms, blazing full moon lighting the sky like daytime and washing out the light of everything else, comet included. Then two days of post-processing battles, as comet processing is maddeningly tricky.

Honestly, buys whole beef tenderloin other than restaurants to make beef Wellington? It’s almost 6 pounds of an extremely high end cut of beef. At 6 ounces per portion it is actually quite reasonably priced if you are a restaurant or catering company.

It is so gross that he would assume that it was okay, but that said, didn’t someone at the provincial level just successfully do the same thing? Wasn’t a certain female MP living in the US doing the same in the past few years? There are rules, but they don’t seem to think it applies to them.
