I never preferred VV to the lions, now or as a kid, but I DID end up with a small, non-separable-into-component-parts (except a couple which are of course missing), breakable and broken, but diecast and amazing toy of it that I still love to this day

People complaining that Donatello wouldn't be into AI because he's the "smart" one but Donatello has never been especially smart! He's just into science and technology, which is something people erroneously conflate with being intelligent!

If you are adrift for a favorite Turtle I can suggest Sophie Campbell's Jennika, who is the favorite Turtle of "discerning adult women"

If you like Donatello it's for one of two reasons:

1. You like science, technology, engineering and math, which is appalling and means you will never escape samsara,

2. You favorite color is purple. I respect this a lot and I sympathize but it's kind of a thin justification.
