Because it needs to be said:

The Salvation Army does not exist to save you

The Salvation Army exists to convert you

And if they cannot convert you, they will not lift a finger to save you

Do not support those whose “charity“ comes with conditions

It’s dinner time for the police. Appears to be pizza from a Salvation Army van.

Broadview’s “free speech” curfew starts soon, at 6pm.

The internet loves democracy duck, the duck fighting for democracy in Venezuela

I like how they gave the Nobel Prize to someone fighting for democracy in Venezuela, instead of someone sinking fishing boats off their coast.

This video is everywhere because it's a hilarious visual refutation of Portland being on fire. You can't get a mass movement going without convincing the masses

so yes, this does do something actually

This literally does nothing. You are not beating fascism by dressing up in inflatable suits and dancing

Portland is leading the way. This is how you (non violently) beat Fascism. Humor and ridicule are key.

(Rarity and Fluttershy competed for first for my pick of "best pony," if you were curious. I appreciated a lot how they wrote Rarity, but Fluttershy felt like she had the lion's share of cool moments.)

It would not be an exaggeration to say that this show changed me, even as an adult. I didn't stick with it all the way, but it was the first real "fandom" I felt like I was a part of, and it got me to finally stretch some feelers out to different communities.

Happy 15th Anniversary My Little Pony Friendship is Magic!

It’s not an exaggeration to say these little horses changed my life and set me on a completely unexpected adventure of my own 💜

Eh. It's sweet, but it's safe. Not offensive, but for a Supergiant game, it feels like a letdown.

Yeah, maybe after almost 15 years I'm getting a little tired of it trying to "recommend" to me podcast episodes about Bill Gates.

May have to start looking elsewhere.

I think overall we're definitely not looking at some sort of Aftermath-esque flop where *no one* is interested in it, and I'm betting it's doing better than Assassin's Creed, but it's not breaking any sort of records anytime soon.

It's an anecdote I've seen quite often, at least in regards to events having exceptionally low participation. The set itself selling well doesn't surprise me, but I have also heard of product sitting on store shelves as well (though that may be from a lower interest in Spider-Man itself there).
