Just got my Flu and COVID shots. Made an appointment online this afternoon for a pharmacy less than a ten minute walk away before I even noticed that it was for in less an hour’s time. Expected it to be 1 or 2 week wait. The added bonus of course is that both shots were free. Love where I live!

Taco Tuesday! Tonight we are having black bean and turkey tacos 🌮 Washed down with a Moosehead Lime Chelada. 🍺

Two corn and wheat tortillas filled with a mixture of black beans and ground turkey topped with avocado slices, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese and lettuce, plus some crème. Behind is a green can of lime and salt light beer.

Yes and no. Not by that name, I would normally use Yves brand tofu crumbles (no doubt basically TVP) or sometimes tempeh. For this it was just a mixture of various beans and vegetables which I puréed slightly to give some body.
Dried TVP would be easier to store and perhaps cheaper.
