Sigh. More lost revenue, which will have to come out of taxes. Like our National Parks haven't taken a beating already.

Without immigration, Dawson Creek would be a community in decline. I appreciate governments across the country are desperate to change the channel regarding their failure to build housing and increase capacity for public services over the last 50 years, but scapegoating immigrants ain't it.

NO other municipality in BC has an elected Parks Board. Blows my mind that Vancouver has one.

Housing Minister Christine Boyle just introduced a bill that will give Vancouver City Council the power to dissolve the Vancouver Park Board - something Ken Sim has been pushing for over a year #bcpoli

So it's war between Unions and the UCP.... #ableg

👀 Breaking the ATA and making membership in the union optional for teachers are actual official UCP policies that were enthusiastically passed by delegates at the party’s convention last year in Red Deer.

Alberta launched its border patrol last year to help stop the flow of illegal drugs and migrants across what Premier Smith called the “leaky” U.S. border.

But the Interdiction Patrol Team has so far made only a handful of arrests, according to data released through an access to information request.

The fall out of Carney's latest visit with Trump:
After bragging about Canada joining the US, Trump made it clear he is determined to destroy our autoworkers and steelworkers.
But Danielle Smith and the planet burners are over the moon.
They say this is "love language."

Never liked Harry Potter, but what happened to the idea of "hate the artist, love the art"? Guess we cannot separate the art from the artist. The art has no transphobic undertones but whatever...our comfy lives declare this an issue.

Today is a great day for workers. With Bill C-247, the NDP is standing up for the right to strike and bargain freely - rights generations of workers fought for.

It’s time Ottawa remembered who keeps this country running. It’s time for workers to have a voice in Ottawa.
