Loved this event & hearing what made a change for artists. I think it was Mallory who talked about the loss of a warbler's song. My loss is the loss of the nighthawk's call in the Parson area of the Columbia valley - the loss of nesting habitat. Such a haunting call & whirring of wings.

Today we face the prospect that Ms Smith will legislate teachers back to work 'cos it says we can't afford to settle.
Meanwhile the GoA is paying $$ (so far $237M - likely as much as $650M) to Aussie coal companies to settle claims created by the UCP's own incompetence

Another Australian coal company has announced that it has reached a settlement ($95 million)with the GoA over its compensation claims due to Alberta's coal policy flip flops.
Once again this info comes to AB taxpayers from the company website.
No disclosure from the GoA.
