As a joke Secret Santa, I bought a genuine Victorian book of venereal diseases, with pictures of rotting cocks and missing noses. The sweet Italian guy who got the 'present' was at first delighted with a rare book, then confused and then very quiet. As jokes go, it landed poorly.

Applied for a manager role in work. Another manager raised a concern that I'm too immature, but they gave it me anyway. Yesterday I took the team for lunch & got rounds of shots in. Two had to go home early, one puked on her keyboard & another cried to a customer. They were right

Englishman here, married to a wonderful American lady, living in the US. Initially she was horrified by my use of the word "cunt" as it is only used as a pejorative against women here. This morning she asked, "Who turned the air conditioning on? Some cunt?" Never been prouder.
