So if making son pasta and chicken in a creamy sauce (which he had at camp) if I boil the cold chicken in the sauce it would be safe?

Novice meat cook here: once you have roasted a chicken and you have left overs how do you handle them? Put in fridge? Can you safely recook? Or do you have to then eat the cooked meat cold?

I can’t help remembering him as a child/teen no interest in farm, no interest in countryside only liked his band drugs drink. Loving nature can be lost as teen but I think it’s something core if it’s not there in a child I can’t see it happening in middle age #TheArchers

Dunno why they had to go for Redwings - Robins have the same journey and challenges migrating. That was a conversation I could have appreciated from Neil but sounded all wrong and out of character from Ed #TheArchers

It's #buyastrangerabook day!

@seanjones.org has bought a copy of We the People : A History of the US Constitution by Jill Lepore for me to give to someone.

blurb in second image.

If you'd like it, get in touch.

UK only.
Front cover of the book. Blurb for the book.

On the 250th anniversary of America's founding - a landmark history of the US Constitution for a troubling new era. The US Constitution is among the oldest constitutions in the world - and one of the most difficult to amend. Although nearly twelve thousand amendments have been proposed since 1789, only twenty-seven have ever been ratified.

Tellingly, the Constitution has not been meaningfully amended since 1971. Without amendment, the risk of political violence rises. So does the risk of constitutional change by presidential power.

Leading Harvard historian Jill Lepore captures the stories of generations of ordinary people who have attempted everything from abolishing the Electoral College to guaranteeing environmental rights, hoping to mend their nation. Recounting the history of America through centuries of efforts to realize the promise of the Constitution, we witness how nearly all those bids have failed. We the People is the sweeping account of a struggle, arguing that the Constitution was never intended to be preserved, but was expected to be gradually altered.

At a time when the risk of political violence is all too real, it hints at the prospects for a better, amended America.

Only person who genuinely seemed to like George was Martyn Gibson. George is too explosive impatient and selfish to be any use as farmer. But as a bad boss in middle management I think George could thrive he’s master toadie and bully honed by prison. George should seek Martyn. #TheArchers

Brad is already in love. It’s so boring they repeat this triangle again and again and expect us to be surprised. Possibly they think this is interesting in some way because George was born in these circumstances? They always go the coy slow burn too while we are shouting ffs just get on #TheArchers

True. I’m guessing that’s an editor thing? Sarah usually quite good but this was all smaltzy rubbish with no pathos dead Bartleby or no dead Bartleby. I also really hate the set up for Amber to go off with Brad #TheArchers
