i mean sure there is something to be said i guess about the boyishness and even androgyny of some twinks (my @ has been androgynyfiend for years now for a reason) but being a twink is not inherently feminine. also effeminate ≠ feminine

icr exactly what i was saying, i think it was something about how bear/twink are NOT the same at all as butch/femme and ppl then took that as me denying that men could have weird relationship w/ their gender, but i'm just like no. i am a twink who is a trans man. i am read as male.

themselves from muxes. Mario, an articulate twenty-four-year-old gay man, for
example, said that
For me a muxe is a man who identifies as a woman and likes to dress like a woman. I
am not muxe. I am gay because I have never wanted to dress like a woman or to be one.
They work in female trades. I know I am a man.
