Spoilers for Our Monsters, but this book also strongly reaffirms my love of "sorry kiddo, I knew that you were a nonhuman creature merely imitating humanity all along, I just couldn't be bothered to tell you because I'm a shit parent" as a plot point. It hurts real good.
Aaaaand that's Our Monsters finished. I read the back half of it all in one go, that's how good it was. Aemiliana makes me wanna write about succubi so bad...
