‘Shabana Mahmood to warn that UK’s failure to control its borders is eroding trust not just in politicians but in the state itself’ - no - politicians pushing unrealistic policies they can never deliver is what is causing loss of faith in politicians - different thing entirely

Netanyahu announces Israel will not abide by the terms of facilitating humanitarian aid, despite it being a key ceasefire agreement clause.

Didn't take long, did it?

To all you patriots (and UK authorities)

Is this not political interference of the most egregious and socially divisive kind?

This comes under the heading of ‘if you repeat a lie enough times somehow it morphs into the truth’ - the job of those who oppose the idiotic lie that we do not need the protections the ECHR affords us - is to ensure this lie never morphs into any kind of acceptance

Brexit is Farage and his fellow Brexiters' shitstorm to own. He/they can't be allowed to just pivot from heckle to heckle and bad idea to worse - while blaming everyone else - without consequences.

So the suggestion that Labour are going to amplify that truth is to be welcomed.

I’m glad we can now talk about Brexit damage, says Wes Streeting

The Prime Minister is gearing up to blame Nigel Farage and Brexit for Britain’s expected downturn in productivity at the November Budget

It’s about time

Okay, the U.K. has tried the #HardBrexit experiment foisted on it under the pretext of the Referendum

It’s been ruinously expensive, in more ways than one

It hasn’t worked, big time

It can’t be made to work, ever

It’s time to start on the path to #RejoinEU

Although I find her message to him discombobulating/distasteful - is it more subtle than is at first apparent - could she be trying to do a Sir Keir Starmer/King Charles III job on him? For my sanity I do hope so!!!

Plus all the non-dom owners of our right-wing press - why should they get to have any say in our politics or society when they pay not a penny tax here - Murdoch had to take USA citizenship to do that there - we should apply same rules here

Issue raised by The Two Matts on podcast - one is the editor of The New World (previously The New European) who had a reader picked up by authorities outside a London Underground this week carrying a copy of their magazine with a copy of a protest banner on front page last week (see above post)

I heard that they did the same last week to an individual outside a London Underground station who was carrying a copy of The New World (previously The New European) which had a picture of a Palestinian support placard on the front cover - shameful and profoundly undemocratic action by authorities

My MP is well aware of my feelings on the issue of depriving me of protections provided by ECHR - unfortunately I live in an area that has a large Deform influence so I make a point of carrying around info showing benefits of ECHR to them and hand it out whenever I get chance - we can only try

From Sunday, Brexit will deliver a big highly visible slap in the face. Hopefully that will bring it deservedly back into the news.

From Sunday, travelling into Europe gets tougher for Brits.

New EU border rules mean fingerprint scans, photo registration and longer queues.

This is the real-world cost of Brexit - more hassle, more red tape, more delays.
