It’s not whether the glass is half full or half empty, it’s whose round is it, and mine’s a pint. (Note to all: Please don’t follow me with the expectation of financial help. Can’t afford it, and you might be a grifter.)

The Phil Silvers Show!
Love Bilko, one of the best American comedy creations.
Don’t mention Steve Martin though. One of two blots on his CV!

But this has reminded me that my son’s athletic club did organise a 5k race to be run through the salt mines. It got cancelled, unfortunately, on health and safety grounds. Shame as would have been a fascinating venue.

BBCradio3 also had a 2018 concert performed in a salt mine, although that was in Poland. Sadly not available.

In “Peanuts,” Snoopy first appeared as the WWI flying ace 60 years ago, on October 10, 1965. (I’d wager that, thanks to Peanuts, the Sopwith Camel is the only WWI airplane most people can name.) Here’s the debut of the flying ace and his biplane, before the many battles with the Red Baron.

This is just a complete fantasy. Sure there are many issues in the #Portland but all normal city issues. Trump might as well say we are being attacked nightly by orcs and dragons
atrupar.com
Trump: "Portland, I mean -- every time I look at that place it's burning down. There are fires all over the place. When a store -- there are very few of them left -- but when a store owner rebuilds a store they build it out of plywood. They don't put up storefronts anymore. They just put wood up."

I hereby declare war on premature Christmassing.

Any shop caught doing this before 1st December must be shut down and turned into affordable housing.

Choose sanity. Vote Binface.

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.
