RELEASED TODAY thanks to Penguin Random House and DC Comics our ‘audio movie’ of the graphic novel KINGDOM COME by Mark Waid and Alex Ross. This production gave me the chance to return after three decades to both Metropolis *and* Gotham City. Here's what the author says about our new version: 1/14

Absolutely terrific piece by Naomi. If you have the slightest of feelings for The Beatles this will resonate.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Dirk does a full rundown of the cast and it is beyond awesome that Kerry Shale is back as the Joker.

I’m also excited that Dirk got to do this. Nothing against the Warner audio version of the late nineties but I was always pulling for Maggs to adapt this.

💥KINGDOM COME is out now on Audible‼️ It was an absolute treat to work on this; it’s one of my favorite graphic novels. You’ll hear me as Selina Kyle (Catwoman!!) among others 😺 This cast is mighty, @dirkmaggs.bsky.social worked his SuperButt off as usual, & basically I’m psyched about it!

Just wilful performative cruelty that is entirely out of step with the majority of British people.

How many Labour MPs got into politics in order to vote for stealing jewellery off of people seeking refuge from war and persecution?

A profound influence on my love of audio …
They’re running Under Milk Wood as originally broadcast, for the first time, this weekend on R4 Extra. Obviously, it’s brilliant. And I highly recommend a listen. It still sounds amazing; truly timeless. The most dated bit is the credits - but, oh, those character names.
