Do you know I've got a poetry collection coming out next year? & you can preorder it? (Some links below, but you can preorder worldwide.)

Like tarot cards, witchy things, feminist rage (think Taylor's "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" & Fleetwood's "Silver Springs."), & mythology? You're in luck.
Does anyone who follows me do book reviews? If you do, and you'd like to review my collection, @ or DM me.

Just tossing this out there! **flings** **flees**

Darlings! If you're nominating for the Rhyslings, Hugos, or Nebulas, I've got poetry offerings for you! Check out the thread.

I'm really proud of the work I did last year, and I hope you'll consider it for nomination!
Darlings! A fresh post.

I've got poems eligible for the Hugo @laworldcon.bsky.social), Nebula ( @sfwa.org), and Rhysling awards ( @sfpoetry.bsky.social). Links:

Anything you can do would be of great help. Facing an eviction at a time like this is devastating.
I cannot thank the community enough for helping me survive in these hard times, but I was unable to work for the entire month of January because of current events.

I risk getting an eviction notice on February 5th if I don't make this GoFundMe goal on time.

Please help.

Peddle on the gas. Keep calling.

Whenever anyone remarks about my workout discipline (I am consistent, 5 days a week), I chuckle a little.

First, making it a habit took time and practice. You can make anything a habit. Habits can be good!

Second, if I don't work out, my mental health will absolutely nosedive into the trash.

If you've got dem senators, today is a great day to call them and tell them THIS shit is not enough. Remember to spell your name, say your city/zip code, and state if you'd like a call back.

But call them. Tell them this is NOT enough. We have momentum. We need to use it, so that they do.
there is no earthly reason to believe that these goons will comply with any new regulations! it’s like if I put a sign on my door ordering the pines not to drop their needles! they’re pines and those needles will drop! zero funding, “reform” my ass, this guy must be stopped

NEW: Minnesota's top federal judge says ICE has been violating court orders repeatedly — detaining noncitizens or rushing them to Texas despite judges' commands.

He wants ICE's director to answer for it "personally," and could level contempt sanctions.

ICE murdered Renée Good in broad daylight. Less than 3 weeks later, they killed Alex Pretti, shooting him 10 times. Every day, we watch as people are ripped from their cars, their homes, their lives.

We can't allow ourselves to look away from this cruelty. Abolish ICE.

Sometimes, all you can do is care about people out loud. Check in on them. Share things that make them smile.

It's easy to feel disconnected, even when we're not. In times of darkness, love harder and care more.

It matters.

Last night, a food blogger I adore (Liam Layton/the plant slant) posted about MN. He's as heartbroken as the rest of us.

He used his platform to speak up & donated money to help, too. I shared a vetted link from local MN folks to him, & it's pinned on his profile.
