Idk aber die Werbung auf Instagram macht mich immer ein bisschen fertig. Zwischen Werbung für Press-on Fingernägel (lol), Kettensägen (schon spannender), Katzenzeug (fair) und Doc Martens (auch fair) bekomme ich jetzt Werbung für Freiwilligendienste und Studiengänge für mein (imaginäres) Kind (wtf).

Merke:
Wenn man der Frauenbeauftragten erklärt, die Frauenförderung sei jetzt mal gut, selbst bewerbe man sich ja seit 10 Jahren und nur wegen dieser Frauen sei man nicht zum Zug gekommen, dann ist das nicht schlau. Gar nicht.

Regelmäßige Stimmübungen und vor längerem Reden die Stimme aufwärmen. Gibt verschiedenste Übungen mit Anleitung auf Youtube. Man fühlt sich dabei am Anfang unfassbar lächerlich, aber es hilft tatsächlich. Ansonsten so akut: Salbeitee mit Honig hilft mir persönlich immer. 😅

Ich mag meine Studis, aber jedes Mal, wenn jemand fragt, ob Quellen aus dem letzten Jahrhundert noch ok sind und damit Literatur aus den 90ern meint, stirbt etwas in mir.

Hahahaha, same. But also, quite weirdly, the Bible and my mum’s big book of Greek mythology. Probably because it had all the stuff you weren’t supposed to read about but it was somehow ok to read in there because … it’s the Bible and Greek mythology. 😅

Every time somebody says friendships with age gaps don’t last, I think of the age gaps between my best friends and me (1 / 11 / 26 years) and start to laugh. It’s not about age, it’s about life experience, shared interests, and humour. It’s also about who shows up and listens when everything‘s shit.

Ich lese gerade übrigens eine richtig gute allererste Hausarbeit. Der Stil ist noch ein bisschen ausbaufähig (bei wessen erster Hausarbeit war er das nicht?), aber Argumentation und Textarbeit sind top. I’m impressed. ✨

Nachdem ich gestern fast von einer kaputten Schiebetür ausgeknockt wurde, habe ich zwei Schiebetüren ausgebaut, die teilweise in die alten Türrahmen genagelt (!!) wurden. Bei der dritten habe ich aufgehört, weil dazwischen noch ein Stromkabel (?!) auftauchte und ich erst den Strom abstellen müsste.
